Well-being for the workplace.
We bridge the gap between clinical psychology and corporate performance, providing your team with the tools to manage stress, foster meaningful connection, and reach their full potential within a healthy work culture.

About Us
Balance-Works Psychology was founded by Dr Lucy Gee and Dr Mekayla Zahra, HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologists with experience across the NHS and private sector.
They have extensive experience working across the lifespan with a range of mental health, cognitive, and neurodevelopmental needs. Balance-Works Psychology was created to bring this clinical expertise into the workplace, supporting individuals and organisations to thrive.
Through training, supervision, and consultation, they deliver practical, evidence-based workshops that help teams recognise and manage stress, understand neurodiversity, and enhance wellbeing at work.
Dr Lucy Gee is a Clinical Psychologist with experience across both the NHS and private practice. She has worked with individuals in high-pressure environments, supporting employee wellbeing and helping organisations and professionals recognise and prevent burnout. Her approach combines evidence-based psychological practice with a compassionate, practical understanding of the challenges people face in demanding personal and professional settings.
Dr Mekayla Zahra has experience in providing specialist psychological consultation and training to organisations, including NHS services, corporate teams, and TV and media production environments. Dr Zahra has expertise in neurodevelopmental assessment and the treatment of posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and is skilled at translating clinical psychology into practical, psychologically informed approaches for nonclinical and highpressure settings.
Why Work With Clinical Psychologists?
Clinical Psychologists offer expertise that goes beyond general wellbeing or awareness training. With specialist knowledge of mental health, neurodevelopment, and neurodiversity across the lifespan, we bring an evidence-based understanding of individual difference and workplace needs.
As organisations seek to create more neuroinclusive workplaces, generic approaches often fall short. Clinical Psychologists help translate complex knowledge into practical strategies that work in real-world environments.
We support organisations to:
-
Build a clinically informed understanding of mental health and neurodiversity
-
Develop practical, inclusive workplace practices
-
Equip managers and teams to respond confidently to diverse needs
-
Create environments where neurodivergent employees can thrive
By combining clinical expertise with practical consultation, we help organisations build more inclusive, effective, and resilient teams.
